Still My Muse... Solange Knowles

Like seriously she needs to stop, I loove this, not many people would be able to pull it off and she does it well.

By the way guys if you want to pull off a colour blocking trend then pair it with something neutral just to settle the colurs otherwise most tend to look like clowns. Sowwy but it's true  : )

Office Colour

I found these great ideas on how to mix up colours at work. I am such a black and white person when it comes to the office despite the fact that I love colour.

So Enjoy!

I could do this...

I love this one, both runway and style inspiration, I'd most likely wear this one.

Prints and Color

At the moment the new trend is mixing up different patterns without clashing and colour colour colour.

I've seen a lot of people trying the colour blocking trend but it's more of a colour clash. Please do not force it if it doesn't go, just cuz you were told to take bright colours together doesn't mean you should kill it : )

I can see my sister rocking all the above

I can see myself rocking all these colourful classic looks with no hesitation.

Ladies know your fashion!

ANNIVERSARY ISLAND

So this past weekend was hubby and I's wedding anniversary. Woosh days go so fast, in this past year we have learned so much about each other more than when we just friends. We are both at a very happy state in life and with each other. It's the best state you can ever be!

So Mr. B, surprised me with a short holiday which was so loved since I spent the whole week at home since I was so unwell and we were moving houses. Ooh yeah, I love our new home so much, it's so us, just a few tweaks here and there. So I spent the whole week sick and arranging things which made feel even worse.

Anyway back to the weekend, he told me to pack we are going away... I love surprises but I am so impatient and spent the whole day asking everyone including him who kept on answering yes to every place I guessed.

It was so great to be at an island, beautiful beaches, great food, even great views. I felt so relaxed and we bonded even more. We talked, walked, and loved each other more.

I am so thankful to God for finally giving me a friend in my husbandt! He truly does his best towards me : ) I am so thankful for our understanding, friendship, oh God that man can make me laugh so much even when I'm mad (and I switch easily). I find myself smiling more during the day than have a frown on my face.

I pray for many more years of happiness and success cuz we work together : )

Introvert

So I was reading a book the other day, 'The intelligent Entrepreneur,' and there it was an explanation of who I am. I remember once I posted about my personality and making new friendships etc. And one lovely person commented saying that i should read about an Introvert and an Extrovert.

Well, after reading this I have finally come to accept and love who I am because I am introvert and love it. So you ask whose that,

' Intensely but quietly curious, socially they may be rather shy except with their best friends. Quiet and reserved... (they) often use their talent to bring order to unogarnized facts.'

That's who I am and I love it!

In this day and age of our life, there are so many things that can lure you to a point of not knowing who you are. Find you and stick to who you are! There was a moment in my life where I lost who I am and I have finally found it. The next Biggest thing is always keep God close to you, you do not loose anything but gain a lot of blessings.

Have a lovely week.

FT's Pick

Inspired by The Inspired

Hellos to yous all. I hope you've all been keeping well. Sorry I've been quiet, hectic few weeks then last week I wasn't feeling too well.

Anyways, so DFF was good, I got to meet a lot of my customers and made new ones so I am thrilled. The grounds were filled with creative women show casing great fashion. I am in Love with Pichini and Eskado Bird by the way. ; ) The two days saw different crowds, some just browsing and spending the day chilling with family and some there to really shop which was great of us : )

I learned a lot from this experience as always through everything you take a bit with you and what you don't need you leave for others to pick. The biggest thing I learner is when in my comfort zone I can talk : ) and have fun! And fashion is my comfort zone and I was surrounded by my loved ones and a lot of fun women, no snobs in my life that's how I like it. Drama free zone!

I left those two days very inspired and the coming weeks i will be working hard at a few things that have been inspiring me but been taking the back sit.

So today, I was browsing around and found this extremely inspiring video by Beyonce and it really shows if one works hard enough you will get to where you need to but do not forget to live!

"I'm learning how to drown out the constant noise that is such an inseparable part of my life. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. I only have to follow my heart and concentrate on what I want to say to the world!" -B
