Comfort...In your skin...Style...Hair
I've been asked, why I'm I so obsessed with Solange Knowles, well actually I never was until she did the big chop. Changed her attitude, style and learned to embrace who she is. See Solange is a very talented young woman, who actually is the one who writes a lot of her sisters big hits, before being a singer, Solange is a song writer. Many people tend to lie under the shadow of their piers and never find themselves or even the comfort to shine for who they are.
I envy the confidence and care free in her own 'SKIN,' (I put that in brackets because it means so much more than just skin, think about it). Many a people may say/comment what they want but be confident in your own SKIN and keep living. And thus, comes my obsession with Ms. Solange Knowles.
Beyonce is a beautiful singer and I admire her drive, it's inspiring but Solange for me resembles the shining star that twinkles when you are sitting or lying down at the park or balcony. You are mesmerised and keep looking for that same star as it gives you hope and makes you want to strive to be you.
Fashion Week Love
In case you didn't know, I love London Fashion Week next to Milan Fashion week. I feel it provides so much into new trends and just perfect creations. I love the Hype New York Fashion has though but I'm London girl when it comes to fashion.

Pastels and Colours... A little pop of colour
I love her look!
Sorry guys on the slow posting, I am away again! Work, work, work can't stop working but I love traveling and that fact we work for ourselves. Even more rewarding for us! But in the world of my career, I always get time to look into my passion (fashion) and it is great to be in a place I've wanted to be in a long while!
FT Boutique
For the fun loving!
This is actually a dress (orange), green is a skirt!
I love my sis! She makes everything work! So, anyway so many people ask me if my sister shops for the clothes at the shop. No. I pick each and every piece myself some from designers who send me sketches or samples then I say exactly what i want, some I buy from various areas in the world. I love designing but have no time to start making.
I have a very simple, veeery simple style and I love buying clothes that no one would find anywhere else or at-least one one pieces that are so unique! My style is very conservative, pencil skirts, A-line dresses and shift dresses but I am never scared of colour, in fact i love it. My sister in the other end can walk in to my or her closet pick up two different things and make them work. The amount of times I've told her I've nothing to wear and she always finds something with a tag in there, lol! As I said before, we learned fashion from our mum, who always made clothes and still until today she makes so many clothes to a point I get bored of how many things she makes! And the familiar, 'I have nothing to wear,' lol.
Anyway, I always tend to pester people about the designer or whoever makes the clothes then I'll find them (designers)! It's hard but well worth it! I get help from a very great friend who owns a beautiful boutique in london that I have loved in years!
For me, my boutique is not about me or how I dress, it is how I can help women from all walks of life feel complete by looking absolutely classy! And that they do!
For me FT is like walking into your own personal closet/shop, it's like a treasure that you find when you are walking to somewhere else.
Thank you all for your support and for your feedback for this new collection and since we've been open ( coming 2years).
Love FT!

SAD BUT TRUE... SOULS OF ANGELS... in Zanzibar!
Anger and remorse filled my heart this weekend as I watched our fellow humans drown into the sea. Heartbroken at the site of children, babies, infants being displayed as though fish out of the water and ready for auctioning! May Allah/God bless the souls of all those beautiful Angels that HE decided to take so soon and in big numbers.
You ask why, this has happened, foolishness, greed, there's a saying that goes, "Anything done in Haste has no blessing." (Or something like that but you get point) This ship allows maximum of 300 people plus cargo but we learn 600 + people were rescued and 240 found dead and more are still washing away in the sea. Their bodies becoming feasts for sea creatures, God is Truly Great! You never know when it is your turn and how you will go back to God. Make the most of your time here by worshipping him in every way and in everything. Don't be blinded by ignorance as we've seen a lot of it during this weekend.
Praying for ease of pain for those who have lost the loved ones, God Willingly!
Heartbreaking
I sigh with a heavy heart at the fact that this whole thing could have been stopped if Authorities did not put corruption and greed in front of them, more than the lives of people.
SUCH IS AFRICA.
I WILL LIKE TO CONVEY MY CONDOLENSES TO THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LOVED ONES IN A FUEL BLAST IN NAIROBI AS WELL! PRAY BEFORE YOU CAN'T ANYMORE, PRAY BEFORE IT IS YOUR TURN TO BE PRAYED FOR!
THEN IT IS TOO LATE!
LOVE FT!
Fashion's Night Out
If I were to choose, people who inspire my style more than anyone in the world, I would choose these two, Solange Knowles and Corinne Bailey Rae!
Corrine's style sophistacated and classy with a bit of edge... very suttles which is more like me however we all have those days when we feel like going on adventure! That's where Solange comes in, she is daring, not afraid and chooses clothing that SUITS her BODY and STYLE! Something a lot of people do not do especially in Africa.
Dress for your body, style and comfort, be comfortable in your own skin! The ladies have been busy attending several parties for Fashion's night out... I love Fashion Week!!
