Yeah shamim, That will be great ama unaweza ukamuomba picha za mavazi yake then...naweza kumpa credit no problem at all. ila bado sijaona, ambao wanafanya fashion show mie sioni bado kama wamefika udesigner wakupewa credit kubwa ingawa wanajitahidi maana najua madesigner ambao utabaki mdomo wazi na ni wakiafrika ila si watanzania!!Keep visiting Finishing Touches...and by the way TO anony, I look forward to seeing and sharing your designs with everyone.

FT the cloths are fab, bring us more!! With a little imagination and creativity one can do wonders with African themed fabric. WaTZ can do it but the problem is creativity, FINISHING and the need to complicate (mmeremeto, silk, etc) when simplicity always does it. For example pic no.4 its just a simple shift but the arm detail has made it booootiful!

I totally agree with you there anony: I think if they pay more attention to detail and how the finished product looks they can create as you say wonders seriously!!Ooh well one day, we hope!!

Thank you all for visiting finishing touches...and i'll try my best to share more beautiful creations with you all!!

Hallow FT one question, what type of material are there clothes made of? is there any shop I can find such material in TZ?

Anonymous said...

Hi, These clothes are made from lace, ankara and damask which are mostly from Western Africa but I am sure there are places that sell them in Tanzania!! Try Renzo in Dar es Salaam, Mikocheni opposite TZ Former President Mwinyi's House or near DIS school!! I know they tailor clothes, I am not sure if they sell fabrics too!!
